We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator for a 12-month contract with a key player in the financial services industry.
In this role, you'll support the Project Management Office (PMO) by ensuring effective coordination and compliance across all project phases.

Requirements A higher certificate (NQF5) in Project Administration or Project Management CAPM certification Agile certification A minimum of 8 years' experience in a project administration environment Experience in cost management, contract and service management Exposure on a complex, multi-dimensional project PowerPoint and presentation skills Proven exposure to agile project implementation Responsibilities Documentation Management: Assist in compiling and maintaining mandatory project documents, including project charters, business cases, project plans, and change requests, ensuring compliance with PMO standards and procedures.
Reporting and Communication: Collate and manage project information and reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed of project status.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Schedule Maintenance: Maintain project schedules, highlight deviations, and assist in planning adjustments to ensure adherence to timelines.
Repository Management: Maintain internal and external project document repositories, ensuring accessibility and availability for audit purposes.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance on project artefacts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, consolidate materials, take minutes, and log action items for follow-up.
Act as the secretariat for Steering Committee meetings.
Risk and Issue Management: Record, update, and maintain logs for lessons learned, risks, issues, and actions to support risk management efforts.
Project Support: Document and track project activities in the absence of the Project Manager to ensure continuity.
Financial Coordination: Maintain financial records, track payments, liaise with vendors, and collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of invoices.
Conduct budget monitoring, reporting, and forecasting activities.
Event Coordination: Organize and manage project events to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
