Project AdministratorFidelity Cash Solutions – CashMaster, Waltloo PretoriaReporting to: Research and Development ManagerThe above position is vacant at CashMaster in Waltloo, reporting to the Research and Development Manager. The purpose of the position is to support project management activities, ensuring that projects are well-coordinated, on track, and meet the required standards.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 or equivalentRecognised tertiary qualification and formal in Project Management will be an added advantageMinimum 3 years' experience working in a technical environmentProficiency in MS Word, especially Excel, is essentialStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to liaise professionally with clients and personnel at all levels.Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)Project CoordinationSupport the Project Manager and the Research and Development Team: Assist in all administration functions and processes during the planning, execution, and closing of projects.Schedule Management: Organise and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.Communication: Act as a liaison between the R&D Team, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.Meeting Coordination: Arrange and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.Documentation and ReportingProgress Reporting: Assist in preparing regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.Record Keeping: Ensure that all project records are up-to-date, accurate, and stored appropriately.Quality Assurance and ComplianceQuality Control: Support the implementation of quality control processes, ensuring that project deliverables meet the required standards.Compliance Monitoring: Assist in ensuring that projects adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.Support for Research and Development ActivitiesData Management: Assist in managing and organizing data collected from research and testing activities.Technical Support: Provide administrative support for technical documentation, testing and research procedures.Coordination for the Research and Development Team: Facilitate communication and coordination between the Research and Development team and other stakeholders.R&D Testing and related dutiesAssembly and testing of prototypesProduct functional testingProduct software testing and signoffManage the testing lab and toolsStock management in the labProduct support to techniciansPerform modifications on productsResponsibility for the Testing CashContinuous ImprovementProcess Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the project administration function and suggest or implement changes.Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from project stakeholders to improve project management practices.General Administrative SupportGeneral Office Duties: Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, and reporting for the Research and Development team.Core CompetenciesDemonstrates integrity by modelling CashMaster's values and ethical standards.Strong administrative skills.Leads teams effectively and shows conflict resolution skills.Ability to self-manage and perform work independently.Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities.Ability to advocate and provide policy advice.Ability to promote integrity and business ethics; demonstrate mature judgment, trust, and open communication; ability to ensure effective teamwork, collaborative behaviour, and team spirit.Ability to multi-task and prioritize work schedules.Ability to work and within a team environment.Ability to function under pressure.Deadline driven.SkillsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsExcellent telephone etiquette.Extremely organised and focused.Whilst preference is given to existing employees at all times and the choice made is purely on merit, Historically Disadvantaged Candidates and Black Female Candidates are encouraged and supported in the FSG team.
