Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting or Financial Manager Degree 4 - 5 Years project accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Proficient on MS Word & Excel The ability to translate financial information onto graphs and other reporting tools Knowledge of the Syspro system is an advantage Responsibilities Prepare monthly EXCO packs, for business units Prepare journals and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare monthly consolidated current and deferred tax calculations as per IAS 12 Prepare monthly forecast cash flows for business units Compare actual results vs forecast and give feedback Provide monthly report of slow-moving inventory in line with WEG policies and IAS 2 Provide monthly report for bad debt provisions in line with WEG policies and IFRS 9 (ECL) Complete monthly VAT calculation, resolve monthly vat queries, upload all supporting documents and submit returns Provide KPI's to business executives in support of business decision, such as ROIC, average debtors days, inventory turnover etc. Evaluate the economic value of assets vs carrying value as per Asset Register and apply IAS 16. Assist business executives, analyse their monthly management accounts and report on significant variances to budget and detection of abnormal items Review overhead cost allocations to COGS, admin and selling expenses Assist business units in the improvement of costing models, including recovery of costs. long-term goal is for the implementation of ABC costing model Prepare annual budgets for business units, including P&L, balance sheet and ROIC Support CFO with various ad-hoc projects Support in implementation of SAP TO APPLY: Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
