Project AccountantMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or financial managementDriver's license essentialAbility to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexitiesAn understanding of and experience within the Solar PV market is advantageousProficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Projects requiredProficiency in PastelExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong interpersonal and relationship management skillsAble to work in a multicultural environment and with multidisciplinary teamsStrong intellectual capacity and able to deal with complexityStrong ambition and personal drive to meet objectives, with an open, transparent style and flexible approachAbility to work under pressure and takes personal accountability for successResponsibilities:Develop and maintain costing templatesPerform financial planning/budgeting for projectsMonitor project level profit and loss to ensure that the projects are delivering expected returns, including analysis of P&L variances and cash flow forecastsOversee payroll functionsCoordinate compliance for WCA, PAYE, VAT, and other SARS submissionsAdminister creditor paymentsAdminister debtors recoveryDrive improvements through processes and technology which contribute to performance enhancements of the various business unitsAid in project costing process, including review of financial and operational assumptionsDevelop and maintain current knowledge of the Solar PV market in Southern Africa, including competitors, potential partners, key stakeholders, and regulatory changes in the regionIdentify, in consultation with a multidisciplinary team, the best options for a project
