Project Accountant

I have an exciting role within the Project Finance space, for a Project Accountant to join my clients' growing team in Cape Town. The role will support the financial manager and business with various financial projects for the group and project companies. The role is best suited to a newly qualified CA(SA), or CA(SA) with 1-2 years post articles experience.
Responsibilities: Work closely with the Financial Manager and oversee the work of the junior team membersLiaise with SARS resolve any issues or queriesLiaise with financial advisors and building budgets intergrating with financial models Analyse basic and complex monthly bookkeeping, management accountants, payroll for projects Analyse project budgets, ensure accurate and timely record keeping Analyse expenditure and variance analyses on projects Manage consolidations Review group company loan recons Review and comment on monthly management accounts Summarise complex accounting records for clients Analyse and comment on accounting records and prepare financial statements Prepare tax returns Requirements: CA(SA)Highly detail oriented and organized in workInformation gathering and problem analysis skillsPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
