Programme Coordinator and Lecturer: Bachelor of Administration in Licensing Practice (JB4787) Location: Randburg

An experienced and dynamic Programme Coordinator and Lecturer is required to lead and deliver the Bachelor of Administration in Licensing Practice programme (NQF 7).
This role focuses on curriculum development, student success, and regulatory compliance, while providing academic leadership and high-quality teaching.

Qualifications and Experience Education: A minimum Master's Degree in Public Administration or a related field, with a relevant undergraduate qualification to support the teaching of critical thinking. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in academic administration or programme coordination, preferably in a distance learning environment. Skills: Proficiency in educational technologies (e.g., Moodle, AI tools). Key Responsibilities Programme Coordination: Manage and coordinate the delivery of the Bachelor of Administration in Licensing Practice programme.
Ensure alignment with the institution's mission and regulatory frameworks (CHE, DHET). Teaching and Mentorship: Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
Provide academic support and mentorship to students, aiding their success in coursework, research, and professional development. Curriculum Development: Regularly update course content to reflect industry standards.
Incorporate digital literacy and the responsible use of AI into the curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to innovate teaching and assessment methods. Student Engagement: Foster a supportive learning environment, ensuring student engagement and addressing inquiries promptly.
Track student progress and provide targeted support for at-risk students. Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with all academic regulations and maintain accurate student records.
Oversee assessments, examinations, and the management of Independent Contractors for sessional lecturers within the programme. Strong leadership skills and experience in curriculum development and teaching are essential.
