Everyone at Rotman, faculty and staff, plays a role in bringing that promise to life.Your opportunity:Working under the Director, Program Services & Student Life, the Program Manager is responsible for meeting program objectives by managing delivery and student services to the diverse Specialized Programs students. The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of operational workflow planning and management, working closely with the program staff to align the academic programming with the administrative and program support function as well as with quality client service. The Program Manager's responsibilities will include the planning and support for the delivery of all extra-curricular and co-curricular, pre-program events and activities, orientation and in-program events and guest speakers. The Program Manager will liaise with counterparts providing program services to other Rotman student populations ensuring that the specialized programs' interests, needs and schedules are well represented in planning and delivering services. The Program Manager will work with all Rotman Program Services teams to prepare and deliver joint initiatives and events, for example, convocation.The Program Manager also assumes responsibility for the development and updating of all communication materials related to Program Services including the student communications, newsletters and the coordination of regular updates to this material and the Student Directories. The incumbent ensures that the website and online student resources are updated in a timely manner, again liaising with staff and faculty as appropriate to ensure a coordinated communications delivery. The Program Manager will provide support to faculty members at Rotman and internationally, assemble course materials, assist them with their teaching needs to help manage the classroom experience.Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing day-to-day operational needs and service delivery requirements of programsActing as the first point of contact for program-related enquiriesWorking closely with the Associate Directors, Program Services and Academic Directors to deliver an exceptional programAdvising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's backgroundDetermining logistical details and activities for events and/or programmingOrganizing, summarizing and circulating program and/or course evaluationsAnalyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvementsCoordinating the preparation and distribution of program and/or course materialEssential Qualifications:Minimum four years related administrative experience in planning, organizing and managing programsDemonstrated experience in supporting curriculum planning, and academic program deliveryExperience with online learning tools and event managementExperience and sound knowledge of best practices in advising and student servicesExperience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure and high-volume service-oriented environment, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and focus on attention to detailDemonstrated high level of customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to speak in large group settingsHighly developed oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to meet different deadlines and manage competing prioritiesStrong computer skills with demonstrated working knowledge of computer software and products, online textbooks as well as MS OfficeAssets (Nonessential):Experience working in a University setting with graduate studentsExperience with Quercus, MS Teams and ZoomTo be successful in this role you will be:AdaptableMulti-taskerOrganizedResponsibleTeam playerThis is a term opportunity until July, 2026.Closing Date: 10/25/2024, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group: USWAppointment Type: Budget - TermSchedule: Full-TimePay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 12 -- $79,874. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $102,147.
