The GS People eXperience Team (PXT) exists to accelerate and de-risk the trajectory of the AWS business.

To this end, we are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our global PXT team as an HR Program Manager.
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Program Manager who embodies a customer-centric mindset, thinks globally, and drives continuous improvement to elevate our organization's standards.
As a key player on the GS PXT team, you'll tackle a wide range of problem-solving scenarios, from strategic to real-time, leveraging data collection and analysis to inform your decisions.
Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and organized self-starter who will thrive in ambiguity, think big, lead end to end execution, and is adept at cultivating collaborative relationships.
The candidate will have a strong background in HR work with a knack to drive change by leveraging metrics, earns trust, is highly organized, detail oriented, and has strong ownership.
As an HR Program Manager, the incumbent should share a passion for process and operational improvement, and a track record of delivering results to better serve customers.
The right candidate will have expertise in either process improvement, program/project management, or HR functions.
The role also requires collaboration between teams across Amazon with professionals at all levels and different countries.
The HR Program Manager will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to support a diverse portfolio of work, experience collecting business requirements, and conducting change management in order to implement and improve processes.
This role requires a passion for experimentation, knack for structured program management, and the ability to problem solve to make improvements for our customers.
Successful candidates will have experience in large corporate environments, strong planning capabilities, the ability to influence with data-driven recommendations, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key job responsibilities
1.Support the delivery and end-to-end execution of programs in PXT Global Services.
2.Leverage problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset to identify and remove process roadblocks, or look around corners to further delight our builders and businesses with their experience with PXT programs, projects, and goals.
3.Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
4.Implement regular reviews of current processes, develops suggestions for improvements to maximize value of resources, quickly identifies obstacles, and prioritizes changes for the program.
5.Regularly report and track PXT metrics related to the full employee lifecycle.
6.Help track and drive completion of key deliverables across programmatic mechanisms.
7.Support leading and contributing to written reports and narratives to disseminate impact and learnings of programs/projects to senior leadership and other PXT stakeholders.
8.Develop a high-level understanding of the business in EMEA, in addition to a broad understanding of how PXT works to connect the dots and ensure we are providing a bar raising experience for both the business and builder.
9.Manage complex calendars and scheduling requirements linked to programs, goals, and key team activities (pan-Amazon country initiatives, regional projects, etc.
).
A day in the life
1.
Identify/Implement planning and management mechanisms that will improve PXT operating accuracy and efficiency.
2.
Coordinate with different stakeholders and teams to achieve key strategic goals, projects, and programs.
3.
Lead global PXT projects in a structured way, planning proactively and reporting on progress continuously.
4.
Prepare management reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends and developing recommendations.
5.
Promote process improvement across GS EMEA, PXT South Africa, and within the broader business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience in human resources, organizational development, or related field
