The Dalla Lana School of Public Health is a Faculty of the University of Toronto that originated as one of the Schools of Hygiene begun by the Rockefeller Foundation in 1927. The School plays a critical role in the COVID-19 pandemic response and is now the largest public health school in Canada, contributing to improving population health and health policy through discoveries and innovation in various areas.
Your opportunity:
The Centre for Global Health is an academic hub for global health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. The Program Coordinator will provide detailed information to students on instructional program and/or course requirements, prepare acceptance and/or decline letters to applicants, analyze programming enhancements, and produce promotional materials.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing program support to both students and internal stakeholders.Resolving minor complaints and referring larger issues.Liaising with students and faculty to coordinate program activities.Supporting award competitions and preparing award letters.Maintaining information on digital platforms.Supporting student work-integrated learning activities.Producing promotional and outreach materials.Contributing to the execution of events.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum three years of experience coordinating academic and/or instructional programs.Demonstrated student services experience.Experience coordinating events.Experience supporting student work-integrated learning programs.Experience with producing communication and/or marketing materials.Experience maintaining information on student information systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role you will be: AdaptableProactiveThis is a term position until October 2025. Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 10 -- $70,844. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $90,595.
