Professional Structural Engineer

Professional Structural Engineer (Pr Eng OR Pr Tech) Secunda Consulting is a civil engineering company with extensive knowledge and experience in large-scale industrial projects for Mining and Petrochemical plants. Projects are rendered on an EPCM basis.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: BSc/BEng/BTech (Civil Engineering) ECSA Registration Minimum 8 years working experience in engineering and design of concrete and steel structures. Previous working experience in engineering development, design, and construction of a range of projects in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power plants). Solid knowledge of software (Bentley Microstation and/or AutoCAD 3D, Prokon, and Revit). Valid driver's license. Responsibilities: Define and understand specific project scope and deliverables. Function as part of a project team. Coordinate and manage the structural engineering design team. Plan and manage the engineering aspects of projects. Prepare contract administration documentation based on NEC3/NEC4. Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and structural steel-type structures. Review, update, and modify drawings. Provide technical support during construction.
