Degree or BTech / Advanced Diploma in Civil EngineeringRegistered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist at ECSASolid knowledge and understanding of Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, Prokon and RevitValid driver's licenseRESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables, and managing the submission of competitive proposalsFunctioning as part of a project team, liaising with other professional team members, other engineering disciplines, and contractorsCoordination and management of the structural engineering design teamPlanning and management of the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, and qualityPrepare Contract administration documentation based on NEC3/ NEC4Detailed structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and structural steel-type structuresReview, update, and modification of drawingsVisual inspections and integrity assessments of existing civil and structural components of industrial plantsTechnical support during constructionPrevious working experience in the engineering development, design, and construction of a range of projects in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power Generation Plants) will be an advantage.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfactionGood planning and organizational skillsThe ability to work independently, as well as part of a teamNAKO LBE is an equal-opportunity employer, and we are committed to the Employment Equity Act.
