Professional Services: Technology Associate – Graduate Role

We are seeking agile and passionate individuals to fill the role of Technology Associate in our Professional Services team. What you'll learn as an Advania Technology Associate:
You'll gain an extensive understanding of Microsoft technologies, developing a strong foundation across various tools and applications across the Microsoft stack. The role often involves working as part of a team, so you can expect to improve your collaboration and communication skills as well.
Some of the day-to-day activities that you will develop within this programme will include:
Assisting in the implementation of new software systems.
Providing technical support to internal teams and external clients.
Participating in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions.
Collaborating with different teams to understand and meet client needs and business objectives.
Working collaboratively with senior staff on various projects, offering fresh insights and innovative ideas.
Staying updated on latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies.
You will also have time to pursue other educational opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Additional Information:
In the Professional Services Division at Advania, nearly all team members have a utilisation target they are measured against. A utilisation target is standard in Professional Services and gauges how effectively and efficiently employees' time is being used for billable work.
Technology Associates, who are part of Professional Services, will also have a utilisation target. This target will be introduced shortly after the initial learning phase of the programme and will gradually increase over the course of the first year. By the end of Year 1, you are expected to fully meet your utilisation target.

Essential Candidate Criteria:
A bachelor's degree in computer science
A passion for all things Microsoft
Certifications/Qualification in relevant technology areas whether they be in Microsoft applications or broader technology domains
The Selection Process:
If you are successful at the first stage of the application process you will be invited to our assessment day on Wednesday, the 20th of November in our Cape Town office. You must be able to attend this event in person to be able to continue with the process.
