Professional Officer - Recruitment & Selection CPT Human Resources / Recruitment Cape Town - Western Cape Recruitment Specialist (Contract) Location: Cape Town Our client is seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist with a strong background in competency-based interviewing to join their team.
Role Overview: As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce by identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent.
You will utilize your expertise in competency-based interviewing to ensure that our recruitment process is thorough, fair, and effective.
This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive approach to recruitment and selection, ensuring we bring in the best candidates who align with our organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Drafting Advertisements: - Create compelling job advertisements that accurately reflect the role and attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Ensure that advertisements align with our brand and comply with legal standards.
2.
Shortlisting Candidates: - Review applications and CVs to shortlist candidates based on established criteria.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate information effectively.
3.
Conducting Interviews: - Lead competency-based interviews to evaluate candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Develop and refine interview questions to assess competencies relevant to the role.
4.
Conducting Reference Checks: - Perform thorough reference checks to validate candidates qualifications and past performance.
- Prepare reference reports to present to hiring managers.
5.
Related Administration: - Maintain accurate and organized recruitment documentation, including candidate assessments and interview notes.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications - Education: - A relevant degree/3-year tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition environment.
- Proven expertise in competency-based interviewing methodology and recruitment best practices.
