Professional Officer - Communications (CT) Sales / Marketing / Communications Cape Town - Western Cape Professional Officer: Communication, Events and Stakeholder Management- Cape Town These positions require creativity and strategy around social media and digital communication, therefore candidates must have a strong social media management as well as digital capability background.
Responsibilities include: 1.
Content Creation & Management: Copywriting & Storytelling: Crafting compelling, engaging, and on-brand content.
Graphic Design: Basic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or Figma.
Video Editing: Creating and editing videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Social Media Strategy & Campaigns: Content Planning: Developing and managing editorial calendars.
Campaign Management: Designing and executing paid and organic campaigns.
Trend Monitoring: Staying up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and best practices.

Community Engagement & Management: Customer Service: Responding to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally.
Community Building: Engaging with followers to build loyalty and advocacy.
4.
Analytics & Reporting: Performance Tracking: Using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Twitter Analytics.
Data-Driven Insights: Analysing metrics to adjust strategies and optimise performance.
5.
Digital Marketing & SEO: SEO & SEM: Optimising content for search visibility.
Email Marketing: Creating and managing newsletters and campaigns.
6.
Technical & Platform Proficiency: Platform Expertise: Expertise in managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
7.
Creativity & Innovation: Visual Storytelling: Creating visually appealing and innovative content.
Creative Problem-Solving: Finding new ways to engage and connect with audiences.
8.
Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills: Team Collaboration: Working with internal teams and external vendors.
Stakeholder Engagement: Managing expectations of clients and leadership teams.
Job requirements: Qualification: B Degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or another related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years relevant experience Other skills /requirements (Specify) 1.
Computer Literacy, Code B drivers license NB: contract position.
