Job Title: Professional EngineerAn Engineering Consultancy is seeking to employ a Professional Engineer for their offices based in Pretoria. They operate in various disciplines such as water, energy, property, mining, transportation, logistics, housing, waste management, and health care.Job Description:The Professional Electrical Engineer should monitor, lead, train, and manage staff in the department whilst ensuring overall day-to-day operations run smoothly and in line with divisional strategies and goals.Requirements:5 - 7 years of experience within the consulting engineering industry specifically related to the built environment electrical design including: medium voltage reticulation, low voltage reticulation, building electrical services, and alternative energy sources.Duties include but are not limited to:Technical design, engineering, and coordination of all electrical building services including: medium voltage substation design; MV distribution design; LV distribution & reticulation; LV Panel and distribution design; generator system design; UPS system design; lighting design; power and socket outlet design; and alternative energies design.Tender documentation and specifications.Project cost estimation and bills of quantities.Supervision of project installations and contractors.Correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
