Job DescriptionYou will be reporting to the Lead Engineer and your responsibilities will include:Responsible for the design, project management, contract administration within the civil department.Performing bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater and sewer design from inception to final design in accordance with design standards.Design software knowledge.Excellent understanding of engineering concepts and application of knowledge.Good understanding of industry codes and standards.Checking and verifying designs.Liaising with clients where required.Developing an understanding of industry codes and standards, client specifications, and client expectations.Developing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.QualificationsBSc / BTech in Civil Engineering.Registered with ECSA PrEng / PrTechEng.SkillsMS Office Applications, MS Project.Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil 3D.Good understanding of (GCC, FIDIC, NEC, JBCC).5+ years' experience required in civil infrastructure i.e. bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater, and sewer.
