As a Civil Engineer in the consulting industry, you will be responsible for providing innovative solutions and technical expertise to clients in various sectors such as infrastructure development, transportation, water resources, and environmental projects.ResponsibilitiesConducting site investigations and assessments to gather data and determine project feasibilityPreparing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specificationsManaging and overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design plans and specificationsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agenciesPerforming quality control checks and reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standardsProviding technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staffParticipating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 - 10 years experience as a Resident EngineerStrong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standardsProficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or other relevant softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projectsBenefitsSalary: R900K/yr – R700K/yr, negotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
