As a Civil Engineer in the consulting industry, you will be responsible for providing innovative solutions and technical expertise to clients in various sectors such as infrastructure development, transportation, water resources, and environmental projects.Key Responsibilities:Conducting site investigations and assessments to gather data and determine project feasibilityPreparing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specificationsManaging and overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design plans and specificationsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agenciesPerforming quality control checks and reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standardsProviding technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staffParticipating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentationsQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldRegistration with the ECSA as a professional engineer (Pr Eng/Pr Tech)Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience as a Civil Engineer - 5 years preregistration and 5 years post-registrationExperience in civil projects and structural designExperience with running projects and leading design teamsStrong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standardsProficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Prokon and/or other relevant software; Revit would be beneficialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projectsBenefits:Salary market relatedContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
