A leading company in the Food Manufacturing industry in Gauteng and within the Johannesburg area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team.

Execute production planning with the highest productivity, the least losses and non-quality.
Experience: At least two (2) years as a Production Team Leader within the Food manufacturing industry.
Formal qualifications Matric or equivalent NQF level Own transport Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) Fluent in English Responsibilities Lead and motivate the production operators Ensure safety of team during the course of operation Ensure that health and safety guidelines and policies are followed Carry out the production operators technical training Ensure that the production shift work effectively and assist eliminating losses and down time Monitor the production planning and ensure the production team's targets are achieved Monitor production standards and quality control programme implementation and execution Oversee productivity and execute the productivity improvement plans Daily and weekly reporting of production, machine hour, and man hour productivity Liaise among different departments, e.g.
receiving, dispatch and quality Work with Managers to implement the company's policies and goals Daily follow up on the consumption to ensure production orders are consumed Review operators' performance Identify production team training needs Deal with disciplinary actions when needed with the support of HR and Plant Manager To cover work duties of the packer and cooker, when necessary To comply with the applicable compliance guidelines & instructions And any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the business as the employer may from time to time direct.
Commit to act according to the key management principles and the safety-first culture as defined in the Safety-first policy Ensure all procedures and processes are followed.
Ensure all the SAP duties of your shift are done, like RMs transfer, TOs confirmation and material consumption and GR'ing, and assist when needed.
