Production Systems Trainer

Overview:Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a Production Systems Trainer to support the Plant Manager in implementing, maintaining and achieving objectives in the plant.Minimum Requirements:Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent3+ years of professional experience in an Automotive environmentFamiliar with production methodsProfound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing conceptsStrong analytical, Coaching, and problem-solving skillsExperienced moderator and teambuilding know-howIntercultural competenciesDuties & Responsibilities:Guarantee that the production schedule is fully understood and communicated within the plantCommunicate production schedule expectations and targets of the production line towards the plant and request & bundle feedback from the plant towards the Regional Production Systems CoordinatorAnalyze logistics and production processes and indicators and provide recommendations for improvementInitiate and realize changes in cooperation with the plant/department managers to improve training, processes, material flows, and labor utilizationAssure that exclusively harmonized Production Systems methods and tools are applied within the plant to implement Production SystemsTrain plant management, Production Systems trainers, and plant staff in Production Systems methods according to the Production Systems method box, e.g. Shopfloor Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, elimination of waste and Standardized Work ProceduresSupport Lean Evaluation / Assessment to monitor the improvement progress within the plantPrepare internal Production Systems reports periodically and as requestedGuarantee compliance with company policies and procedures
