Key Responsibilities:
Managing, Leading and Controlling
Day to day management of employees
To ensure that all employees are exposed to a healthy and safe environment
RTW sessions scheduled and conducted
Production and Quality Standards
Managing an entire sofa production line from start to finish – frame making, poly, foam up, upholstery and bottoms and stubs.
To ensure that the units produced are on target for each department and are of the correct quality standard.
Consequence Management
Contribute to the greater goal of the Factory
Training
Identify all training needs and report to Production Manager
Performance Management
Monitoring individual performance to ensure set standards are maintained and achieved
Consequence Management
Contribute to the greater goal of the Factory
Reporting
Record all target statistics and data

Experience and Qualification:
Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalence
Production Diploma or Certificate advantageous
Leadership skills
3–5 years Supervisory experience
Planning and organizing
Experience in furniture manufacturing industry advantageous
