Supervision of a shift teamEnsure plant availability according to set standardsResponsible for manpower management, including manpower planning and overtime managementSafety (total safety system, investigations, audits, test books and equipment)Train subordinates and other team membersQuality assurance (inspections, audits and corrective actions)Communication with personnel from other sections and related functions to ensure optimized productivityContinuous improvement of work methods and productivityEfficient maintenance teamwork and supportInitiate and co-ordinate improvement projectsDevelop and maintain maintenance systems to address true section needs and to ensure systems are in accordance with corporate standardsControl budget and expenditure Qualification: National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Production Management, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.
