RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for Fleet Systems in the Mining Industry, located in the Northern Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fleet operations and ensuring optimal production flow and efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate fleet operations to achieve production targets and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols related to fleet operations.
Oversee the maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
Report on fleet performance and operational issues to upper management.
Train and mentor fleet personnel to ensure a high standard of performance and safety.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fleet operations into the overall production process.
Requirements National Diploma in Mining Engineering, or a related field Open Cast Blasting Certificate Supervisory Certificate Minimum 4 years' operational surface Mining Production /Control Room experience Minimum of 3 year operational in-depth technical Dispatch system experience At least 2 years' supervisory experience Strong understanding of fleet systems and operational processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in fleet management software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining sector.
