DescriptionJoin this dynamic in-house Clothing Manufacturing Division of this established Clothing concern. My client requires a Senior Clothing Production Planner, someone systems/process driven (Sync), who will challenge efficiencies and oversee and assist when necessary with the following. ResponsibilitiesRaising, amending and approving product PO's.Allocating of fabrics to be cut per job.Loading and amending of contracts and orders.Creating new jobs/cost cards.Fixing line items in Bill of Material.Pre-production.Ensure accurate maintenance of production board, including aligning Sync with board on an on-going basis.Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and operates effectively under pressured time constraints.Sample co-ordination.Capacity planning and monitoring.CMT communication.Fabric delivery monitoring.Replanning pull forwards, roll out sand extensions.Driving of production meetings.General Administration.Ensure consistent approach is used across department for admin.RequirementsQualifications: Diploma in Clothing Production Management or similar or BCom Degree.
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience as a Clothing Production Planner.
Additional: • Work experience in an ERP system or similar enterprise resource planning systems.• Worked as a Production Planner for an established clothing manufacturer either in a Design/Clothing/Textile warehouse or factory.• A solid working knowledge of fabric and trims procurement and supply chain management.• A solid working knowledge of manufacturing critical path management.• Strong organisational ability and able to cope under pressure.• Articulate, good written and verbal skills.Position located in Cape Town.
