Key Responsibilities:Oversee the entire production process, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.Manage the production of both temporary and permanent items.Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet the required specifications.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.Lead and manage the production team, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and productively.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the production team.Ensure that all orders are processed and completed in a timely manner.Prepare and present regular reports on production statuses, including progress, challenges, and solutions.Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Respond to changes in production briefs and ensure that adjustments are made promptly and accurately.Maintain flexibility to accommodate urgent production needs and last-minute changes.Be actively present on the production floor, stepping in to assist with production tasks as needed.Ensure that production processes are running smoothly and address any issues that arise in real-time.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials.Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Key Qualities:Proven experience in a production and operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to adapt to changing production needs and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in production management software and tools.Qualifications:Matric (Non-negotiable)Relevant qualifications within Production Management would be advantageous.Working Hours:Monday to Friday: 7 am - 4 pm / 7:30 am - 4:30 pmRemuneration:R35,000 - R40,000 CTCOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
