Understanding and leveraging the strategy and business driversEnsure that the plant meets its on-time readiness and on-time delivery targetsImprove throughput, reduce operation costs and to implement and maintain high quality standardsManaging long term pro-active relationships with customers (both internal and external) and suppliersStrong focus on Root Cause Analysis of process and incident delaysCoaching and development of managerial levels and high potential candidatesManage the Department on sound business principlesManaging and leading departmental Safety drive Qualification B-Degree (NQF 8/10) in Metallurgical Engineering and preferably completion of a Management Development Program.
