Key Responsibilities: Managing, leading and controlling day-to-day management of employees. Ensuring that all employees are exposed to a healthy and safe environment. Scheduling and conducting RTW sessions. Managing an entire sofa production line from start to finish – frame making, poly, foam up, upholstery and bottoms and stubs. Ensuring that the units produced are on target for each department and are of the correct quality standard. Contributing to the greater goal of the Factory. Identifying all training needs and reporting to Production Manager. Monitoring individual performance to ensure set standards are maintained and achieved. Recording all target statistics and data. Effective teamwork and self-management. Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalence. Production Diploma or Certificate advantageous. Leadership skills. 3-5 years experience in a Management role. Experience in furniture manufacturing industry advantageous. Production knowledge and experience. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
