Production Manager (Rustenburg) Mining

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE §BEng, BSc or BTech Degree in Mining Engineering §15 years' experience in mining environment §Chrome / seam mining experience §Project Management experience an advantage §Valid certificate of fitness §Valid South African Drivers license SKILLS: ·Computer literate (MS Office) ·Excellent communication and writing skills ·Report writing experience ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES §Manage mine operations safely, efficiently and cost effectively to meet short term and long-term production objectives §Ensure correct resources are available to deliver business targets §Production Planning with Mine Planners §Provide visible felt leadership in all areas §Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and leading practices §Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders §Accountable for continuous improvement and asset optimisation initiatives for mining processes
