Production Manager - Press/Assembly Line (Automotive)

Production Manager – Press Line East London Primary purpose of the job
To manage and co-ordinate activities and functions to ensure optimal production output as per company requirements.
Key Performance Areas Manage and Co-ordinate line functions and ensure that production targets are met according to quality standards and customer requirements.
Ensure adequate resources are available.
Manage performance of sub-ordinates.
Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHE procedures and work instructions.
Knowledge required: Technical concepts
Production planning process
Quality specifications and systems
Consequences Management (Discipline and grievance procedure handling processes)
Understanding of budget, cost, expenditure & cost saving abilities
SAP
Computer Literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
