Production Manager - Manufacturing

PLEASE NOTE; Position based in Mandeni North of Stanger Production / PlanningLiaise with planning department regarding production plans.Ensure all departments plans are achieved on a daily basis.Manage production scrap – minimize wastage.
Management of Jobs/Employees/ HR Matters/ Health & SafetyResponsible for a complete understanding of the job, verbal or writtenEnsuring that each job site and department is visited daily to monitor progress, quality, safety, cleanliness and securityEnsure job schedules, order of materials is maintained by all departmentsResponsible for general administrationResponsible for change of ordersManage both perm and temporary employment service employeesEnsure all weekly payroll requirements are submitted to payroll timeously.Ensure all employees are attired with their uniforms and PPE's.Manage stock take process in all departments and deadlines are achieved.Inform human resources of any HR related incidents or matters to be actioned.Ensure health and safety is maintained in the workplace.Prepare departments for stock take and manage the process.Prepared to work beyond normal working hours or on weekends to meet production demands.
