Production Manager (Kzn)

Main Duties:- Lead and coach the factory management team and employees.- Ensure a safe working environment.- Deliver quality products to spec and on time.- Physical Overview and supervision of production on the shop floor.- Ensure that Products are produced in accordance to specification and quality standards;- Production Planning including stock controlling and transport management.- Management of budgets, investment planning and cost control within your department.- Monitoring and replenishing all Raw materials and compound within department.- Implement best practice to achieve improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency.- Produce and ship on time while maintaining high quality product.- Inventory Management of raw material and finished goods stock in Departments.- Possess strong analytical and decision-making skills.- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.- The manager has complete P& L responsibility for department.- Supervise the product release process to ensure only passed products are dispatched.- Ensure that all production equipment and infrastructure needed for production are used according to work instructions and that maintenance in carried out on them timeously.Required Qualification / Educational background- Grade 12- Qualification is Production Management or Business Management or equivalent.- Industrial or Mechanical engineering qualification advantageous.- Rubber manufacturing experience.- +- 5 Years in similar role.
