Duties & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Battery Breaker Production Manager to oversee our battery breaking operations in order to satisfy the identified needs of the smelter department operating from the manufacturing plant.Qualifications and Experience:BSc in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical/Metallurgical) preferred.Minimum 5 years of production/process experience.Experience with crushers, screens, and filter presses is required.Duties and Responsibilities:Professionally manage and coordinate work activities and resources for breaking batteries in accordance with safety, health, environmental, quality (SHREQ), cost, and quantity specifications.Ensure costs are within budget and achieve monthly tonnage targets by utilizing resources effectively.Guarantee satisfaction and value for the Smelter department by meeting weekly production targets for volumes of clean metallics and clean, dry paste.Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with OSHA safety requirements and promoting Safe for Life and 5S programs to achieve and maintain our Zero Harm goal.Scope of Responsibilities:Planning: Develop and maintain an integral planning system in the Battery Breaker department to achieve desired results economically and effectively.Organizing: Arrange and relate activities in the Battery Breaker Department for effective performance at reasonable cost and maximum satisfaction of the involved employees.Leading: Develop, motivate, and guide people in the Battery Breaker department to maintain a stable, loyal employee group that can act effectively.Controlling: Assess and regulate work in the Battery Breaker department and plant to ensure approved plans are accomplished and deviations are corrected promptly.Financial Control: Take necessary actions to manage production costs to improve company profitability.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CVs detailing their relevant experience and qualifications to ****** These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
