Job Description:

Leading and optimising our nut production and water filling processes, ensuring efficient and consistent output.
Recording efficiency data for both facilities.
Maintaining strict quality control measures to ensure our water and nut products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Managing and mentoring a team of production staff whilst fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Engaging with relevant stakeholders, suppliers, and customers on new product development (NPD), ensuring fulfilment of customer requirements.
Overseeing inventory levels, coordinating ordering, and managing supply chains to maintain production efficiency.
Continuously evaluating and improving production processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality enhancements.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven track record with 2-3 years' relevant experience in a nut packing, nut roasting, nut milk and/or water bottling production facility.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for process improvement.
Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when operationally required.
