We are recruiting for an experience Production Manager to join a leading manufacturer of uPVC window and doors.
Reporting to the Group Managing Director the Production Manager will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves planning and coordination to meet production goals, manage budgets and implement process improvements. The Production Manager is required to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, support the company's ability to meet customer demands and maintain competitive advantage in the market place.
Duties:
Oversee the entire production process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating with all relevant people across the group to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation. Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Lead and mentor production team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Analyse production data and reports to identify trends, forecast future production needs, and make informed decisions regarding process adjustments. Coordinate with the marketing and sales departments to align production capabilities with market demands and promotional strategies. Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of production equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Understand customer requirements and build strong working relationships with customers. Schedule and lead customer meetings and presentations Manage a small order processing office Manage a fleet of 3 vehicles and drivers Weekly and monthly reporting to Board This position will suit someone who has strong budgeting and financial management skills, detail -oriented who has the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
It is essential that you have window and door experience and are familiar with industry specific software and tools, such as production scheduling software.
