A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Production BASIC SALARY : R41 600.00 Benefits START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Matric NQF 6 qualification in Production Management / Operations Management Minimum 5 years experience in a Production Manager role in the manufacturing industry Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Have knowledge and understanding of plastic Manufacturing High level of emotional intelligence & interpersonal skills DUTIES: Production Coordination: Implement production schedules to meet customer demands Coordinate production activities with other departments Allocate resources including personnel, equipment and material to maximize efficiency and productivity Monitor production processes and workflow, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to address bottlenecks and delays Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction while optimizing efficiency and productivity Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective action Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety protocols Maintain accurate production records and documentation Personnel Management: Manage subordinates in line with company policies, procedures and industry collective agreement. Responsible to lead, motivate, train and control any allocated persons Ensure that subordinates record and report quality problems immediately Monitor and direct workflow of subordinates Hold regular performance reviews to discuss performance against objectives, counselling employees where performance is not in line with the standards Motivate team to develop with a focus on ongoing improvement.
