Production Manager

Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)Relevant Diploma or Degree beneficialProven work experience in positionAble to work under pressureMust be deadline orientatedDuties:Know, understand & apply the principals of managementCompile daily production reports & share with senior managementLiaise with Stores & Distribution regarding production planningManage Production parameters (waste, overtime, people resources etc.
)Management of Production Teams (training, coaching and performance management)Manage the Ink Technicians.
Ensure that they are completing blend sheets and that drawdowns are brought to you or the Supervisor on shift for sign off on the correct substrate before ink is loaded into the pumps/trays.Communicate with Production Supervisors during shifts and assist with issues experiencedTrouble shoot all the technical issues being experienced in the factoryPartnering effectively with the Quality team to ensure minimal customer complaints and returnsSign off Customer Spec sheet (Printing material, Lamination material, end use and sealing temperaturePerform periodic inspections to ensure the quality of all production meets standardReduce overall waste being generated throughout the factory
