Production Manager

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY): Manage the manufacturing process in order to meet business and customer requirements in an effective and efficientmanner Manage and improve the production facility to the safety and environmental standards as directed by Law, Legislationand Company policies and procedures Manage and improve production facility to quality requirements as dictated by company quality policy, customerspecifications and procedures Creating and driving a culture where manufacturing a product conforming to agreed quality specification is "top ofmind" Manage and improve the physical and intellectual ability of subordinates to meet company and individual objectiveswith complete fulfillment Manage and improve the utilization of company resources to optimize f=efficiency levels, to ensure minimum return oncapital employed Establish a mindset of innovation and creative participation with sustained customer satisfaction as primarygoal Compile and motivate plant specific Budgets, both Operational and Capital Expenditure Control all costs, related to the operation, within budget and reporting variances with reasons and definedcorrective action where possible Compile and timely submission of reports and relevant documentation in line with businessrequirements Lead, coach and develop team members to improve performance and personal capacity Ensure that effective people development and performance management programs are implemented throughout thedepartment, taking future organizational requirements into account MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS: Degree in Engineering field/ B Tec (advantage) Tertiary qualification in production management or business administration 3+ Years' experience in a similar position or higher (Cable Manufacturing industry is advantage) SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge and understanding of business principles Knowledge and understanding of industry labour standards\ Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects Able to multi-task, work to deadlines and deliver results Knowledge of the following ISO systems: 14001:2015, 9001:2015, 45001:2016 #J-18808-Ljbffr
