PRODUCTION MANAGER / EAST LONDON – This role involves overseeing the buying division and inventory system, ensuring efficient procurement processes and effective stock management.Requirements:BCOM degree (beneficial) in Finance or Business ManagementProven experience in production management within a manufacturing environmentStrong Leadership and Team Management skillsExcellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skillsFamiliarity with procurement processes and inventory management systemsProficient in production planning software and toolsStrong communication in EnglishStrong interpersonal skillsHighly proficient in Excel skillsKey Responsibilities involve but are not limited to:Develop and implement daily production schedules to meet demand and optimize workflow.Direct and supervise the production team, providing guidance and support to prioritize tasks and resolve issues as they arise.Identify production challenges and implement solutions to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.Oversee the buying division and coordinate with the Procurement Officer to manage inventory levels and ensure timely stock purchasesMonitor and maintain the inventory system to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency.Track and analyse production metrics and inventory reports to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.Ensure that all production processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.Assist in training production staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and procurement needs for senior management.Salary: Market related depending on experienceApplication Process: E-mail CV, recent head & shoulder photo and qualifications to ****** , using "PRODUCTIONM" as a reference.
