Requirements: Matric.Production / Management / Business Management qualification at NQF level 6 or above.Previous experience in a FMCG environment.Good understanding of production functions and processes.Computer Literate.Leadership and people management skills.Responsibilities: Production Management Production Plan: Implemented and maintained through ongoing assessments and daily reporting against business objectives.Downtime: Unplanned downtime must be Workflow: Streamlined within the production unit to avoid bottlenecks.Ensure Production Volume of 37 tons produced and packed per day; 35 tons per night.Quality Control: Manage and minimize on-hold or rejected items.Quality Management Manage the QM system for audit results > 90%.Ensure HACCP requirements are completed on time and 100% accurate.Adhere to HACCP and AIB standards for accreditation.People Management and Communication Manage employee attendance and address individual issues in consultation with HR.Maximize employee potential through training and skills assessment.Address staff performance and conduct issues in an appropriate manner to ensure employees remain motivated.Conduct timely performance assessments and provide feedback to employees and management.Conduct meetings with supervisors to ensure effective communication and shift handovers.Innovation and Improvement Maintain the company procedure, ensuring process adherence.Implement best practices and propose improvement plans to enhance production and reduce costs.Health and Safety and Housekeeping Management Oversee and manage health and safety processes per OHSA and HACCP; ensure employee responsibilities are clear and that employees are trained accordingly.Complete monthly Health and Safety checklists on time and accurately.Ensure machinery is well-maintained; escalate urgent issues promptly.Aim for zero incidents; provide appropriate protective clothing.Maintain cleanliness in production areas to ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards.
