Production Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production processes and manage our multicultural team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant industry, have HR education or experience, possess excellent organizational and project management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Responsibilities:Maintain a positive attitude and foster a collaborative and encouraging work environment. As we work with vulnerable groups, maintaining a safe and positive work environment is our organisation's number one priority. The Production Manager will play a key role in maintaining that positive work environment.Manage and lead a multicultural team to ensure smooth production operations.Basic HR, motivating team, addressing areas of concern, implementing policies and procedures with 1st and 2nd level disciplinary measures.Coordinate and prioritize multiple project deadlines effectively (and be flexible should these deadlines need to shift due to delays in receiving materials).Proficiency in English, and being conversational in Xhosa and/or Afrikaans is a bonus.Demonstrate strong computer literacy and administrative skills.Ensure high attention to detail and quality control standards are met.Utilize project management techniques to optimize production efficiency.Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Embrace and contribute to the development and improvement of production systems.Workspace management - creating systems and strategies to keep workplace safe, clean, orgnanised and running smoothly.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum Grade 12 maths or equivalent education.Previous experience in project management or production line management.Experience working in a CMT or CTFL (Clothing/textile industry) environment is preferred.
