Job Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foundry operations and havephysical metallurgy knowledge and experience. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that the clients products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all production activities, including scheduling, planning, and execution.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that all production processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure that all products meet customer specifications.
- Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Sales, to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of orders.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and facilities.
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability.
Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role in a foundry environment.
- Strong knowledge of foundry operations and physical metallurgy.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing production processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a foundry environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
