Production Manager/Farm Manager - Citrus

Pest management: pest and spraying; Fertilizer program management, implementation and record keeping thereof. Effective production, irrigation, harvesting and pruning processes; HR labour management and productivity within budget and ensure that all practices are SIZA compliant; Administration and record keeping of farming activities such as diesel controls; Oversee general maintenance and neatness of farm and farming operations; DAFF registrations and inspections; Global Gap to ensure that all practices adhere to Global Gap specifications; Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or diploma in agriculture, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;AVCASA certification;Experience in farm production, more specifically citrus operations;Computer literate including Excel, Outlook and MS Teams. FarmTrace will be advantageous;Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, a third language will be advantageous;Knowledge relating to compliance and health and safety standards such as SIZA, Global Gap and the management thereof;Self-disciplined and detail oriented;Systematic and good time management skills;Between 5 - 7 Years of experience.
