Production Manager – Citrus – Letsitele

INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, or the equivalent combination of education and experience/AVCASAExperience in farm production, more specifically citrus operations.Computer literate including Excel, Outlook and MS Teams. FarmTrace will be advantageous.Knowledge relating to compliance and health and safety standards such as SIZA, Global Gap and management thereof.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE: Pest management: pest and sprayingFertiliser programme management, harvesting and pruning processesHR Labour management and productivity within budget and ensure that all practices are SIZA compliantAdministration and record keeping of farming activities such as diesel controlsOversee general maintenance and neatness of farm and farming operationsDAFF registrations and inspectionsGlobal Gap to ensure that all practices adhere to Global Gap specificationsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Self-disciplined and detail orientedSystematic and good time management skills
