Main purpose of Job: Overall management of Machine Shop and resources to ensure that production plans are met to support the overall business objectives (sales order book).
Required professional experience: 10 years plus production management experience and relevant qualifications
Technical product knowledge
Customer relationship and leadership skills.
Required Education Matric / Relevant trade / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering
Experience 10 years +
Post school qualifications: Relevant trade Turning & Milling is highly advantageous
QMS Experience (Rex / IRIS / ISO)
CNC programming knowledge a must (Siemens / Fanuc Controls / Akuma)
SAP Production Planning modules

Good understanding, reading, and interpreting of drawings.
