The operator needs to be multi-skilled and competent in operating all stations and fulfilling any responsibility of that station.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProductivityPreparation of jumbo rolls to be run on unwinder sections.Cutting of slap waste from the jumbo reels.Competent in the effective operation of the baling machine.Record all data from jumbo rolls before and after they are run in the machine and fill in the necessary documents for that station.Responsible for the effective operation of the machine rewinder section.Responsible for the effective operation of the core winder machine.Check the log saw quality.Monitor glue levels on the machine and ink station operations.Ensure enough lubricant for the log saw machine.Responsible for the quality of product from the log saw.Responsible for the effective operations of the wrapper.Ensure product quality on the wrapper.Change plastic rolls in the wrapper machine.Ensure barcodes and labels are correct and properly placed.Responsible for the quality of the product produced on the bundler.Responsible for the effective operation of the bundler machine.Change plastic rolls on the bundler machine.Pack baled products onto pallets.Record all data and fill in necessary documents for all stations.Operate the shredding machine.Keep the station clean and tidy at all times.Health & SafetyResponsible for good housekeeping and a safe working environment in the factory.Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.Educational Requirements2 to 3 years related working experience in the paper industry.Requirements - ExperienceSkills in basic math.Ability to work in kg's and mm.Language ability: Must be able to converse, read, and write in English.Sound knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process and procedures.Knowledge and understanding of basic Health and Safety regulatory requirements.Good understanding of how machinery works.Experience in machine operations.Skill to operate the machine productively.Attention to detail is imperative.Ability to work independently.Must take pride in work.Application for This PositionProof of qualifications must accompany the application.Submit CV to Romancia Buys: ****** Type: Temp to permContract length: 3 months
