PURPOSE OF THE JOBLiaise with Production Planning Manager on production schedules and oversee the activities of the shift operators andfinishers. Resolve any production problems.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS(This is not an exhaustive list of functions to be carried out).? Discuss work programmed for shifts with the Production Planning Manager daily.? Make out all required job cards for the work discussed for this period.? Ensure that the Shift Foremen understand the work required for each shift, and that they have theright tools to do the job.? Confirm that moulds received are according to specification and ensure that all tools forproduction use are in good condition.? Ensure that all SAP entries are kept up to date? Ensure that all the documents required for the scheduled jobs have been correctly issued.? Record and report any unresolved production difficulties experienced to the Production PlanningManager.? Ensure that all shift and stock containers are loaded and that the usage records for compound arecorrect and forwarded to the relevant department.?EXPERIENCESupervision experience in a production managementProduction, planning and control 3 years 5 yearsQUALIFICATIONS? Grade 12 with Maths? N4 Mechanical/drawings? Problem solving skills? 5S lean manufacturing practices? Knowledge of rubber moulding procedures? Quality control/quality assurance? Knowledge of trimming and finishing processes.? Supervisory and labour relations skills.? Knowledge of disciplinary procedures? Able to read and interpret drawings? MS Excel, Word, PPT, SAP
