We have a Production and Material Planning Management role for our client in the filtration automotive space.
The role is responsible for plant production planning and material planning, make sure production activity follow production plan and meet customer requirement; Also, material procurement follow master plan and customer long term demand, meanwhile keep finish goods and material inventory in a reasonable level.
University degree or relevant education in the field of Supply Chain Management.4-5 years' experience in Production Planning and Material Planning work experience.Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and procurement processes.Must Have Technical Experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, material handling and production.Must come from automotive industry and understanding of filtration or motor parts.Knowledge in SAP PP and MM is preferred.Develop production plans: Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory levels.
Adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.Capacity planning: Monitor production capacity and identify constraints or bottlenecks.
Work with production managers to optimize resource utilization and ensure that production targets are met.Material Planning: Analyze sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to forecast material requirements accurately.
Anticipate changes in demand and adjust material plans accordingly.Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders for materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Track order status, expedite deliveries when necessary, and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to material availability, supplier reliability, and supply chain disruptions.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions and minimize their impact on production.Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve material planning processes and systems.
Implement best practices and tools to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.Implement Material planning and logistics process to meet global standard.
