An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available at Dunns Support office for a Product Technologist.
Our team is looking for a confident, positive and resilient Product Technologist who is passionate about fashion and loves working in a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support by developing, maintaining and enhancing consistent quality products and processes, in support of the Company's product strategy.
Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, and passionate about performance and is a resilient individual who can think laterally, has a focus for detail, and can work independently.
Main Purpose: Provide technical support by developing, maintaining, and enhancing consistent quality products and processes, in support of the Company's product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to Suppliers, Merchandise and Design teams
Continually develop, implement and review product specifications
Maintain and improve product quality
Accurately assess products against company product specifications within the critical path
Provide Product care information and monitor adherence to correct care labeling by suppliers
Supplier SWOT analysis
Analyze customer feedback to improve product performance and reliability
Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to meet company objectives
Qualifications
B.Tech Degree in Clothing Management or Fashion Design & Pattern Making
3 Years retail experience in product technology
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Previous experience in apparel (men's or ladies wear) will be an advantage
In-depth understanding of grading and specification development
Computer literate in Google suite and Excel
Function well under pressure
Deadline driven

Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Ability to resolve issues
Good communication skills – written & interpersonal
