Role Overview The Product Support & Sales Representative will be responsible for providing expert technical advice internally and externally, supporting Komatsu products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The candidate will manage technical inquiries, ensure compliance with safety standards, and oversee service-related activities.
Key Responsibilities Stay up to date with safety procedures and plan for safety events and campaigns.
Consider SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) in work planning and execution.
Plan and prepare for inspections of new and used equipment , including stock, service nominations, and other resources.
Collate materials, such as Komtrax registration forms , warranties , and manuals .
Maintain machine history files at customer sites and conduct delivery inspections .
Plan and coordinate service calls in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Oversee warranty repairs and submit all policy claims.
Implement field campaigns and compile failure reports , TSI , machine conditioning , and evaluation reports .
Provide technical advice and liaise with centralized Komatsu functions on service and repairs.
Prepare recommendation reports for the manager regarding component changes.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience Trade Certificate .
4-6 years of experience in the earthmoving industry .
2 years supervisory experience (an advantage).
Machine Operator License (an advantage).
Experience with Komatsu Products (an advantage).
Specific Knowledge Requirements SAP Quoting (an advantage).
Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate), Microsoft Word , and PowerPoint (Intermediate).
Experience with CSS Portal KMG , EPQ Care , and Komtrax (an advantage).
