We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and empowering future team member to join us as Product Manager Rubber-Tired Vehicles (RTV) for our Mechanical Cutting Division, in particular the Underground Coal and Minerals Business Unit (UGCM).

This position is based in Khomanani, South Africa (RSA).Your ResponsibilitiesManage products through their entire life cycle.Capture the offering development information to develop draft business cases for new product development programs.Take win/loss analysis from Sales Support and identify trends as well as derive required action plans for product corrections.Prioritize feedback cases in coordination with Sales Area representatives and Product Engineers and drive these cases to completion.Develop the Product Strategy and the Product Pricing Strategy.Capture actual market intelligence (5-year horizon) to strengthen draft business cases.Your ProfileHigher education in mechanical/electrical/mining engineering or equivalent, mechanical engineering preferred.3-5 years of experience with mining equipment, especially with flame-proof (FLP) rubber-tired vehicles (RTV).Basic mining application/operation knowledge and a sound commercial understanding.Strong communication skills and mastery of conversational and technical English.Good PC user skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 Apps for Business.International travel will be required for this role (up to 30% of working time).Adaptability and open mind in dealing with customers in different cultures.High motivation and willingness to perform.High ambition to work and to cooperate as a member of an expert team.How to ApplyPlease apply online through Workday (ESS) or access the Sandvik website www.home.sandvik/en/careers.Applications close: 27 December 2024Please note that, should you not receive any response from us within 14 days, your application has been unsuccessful; we however thank you for your interest in our company.
